Ahhh, thank you. It is definitely a beautiful clump even I've already taken two divisions from it.

My avatar is of S. Big Supper.

Just received it with my collection from North Hills Nursery in April '12 of about 1 inch big. Currently it's still the same size but taller (leaves pointing upward) and now has green tone and not as yellow/bright.

Lynn,

You've corrected my error. For a while I couldn't get any photo or info on 'Big Supper' and had wondered why. Well, I guess it's really is 'Big Slipper' and that I misread the handwriting on the tag. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Here are the photos taken today (avatar: was taken in early April).

Hi Larry. Thank you for bringing this thread back. I have to change who my most prolific semp is.
This photo was taken in April last year, first offset crop.

I removed all the offsets after this photo was taken. This rosette immediately produced offset from every leaf base and all around the underside. In the summer I removed them all and she did it all over again. This time I left them and they are still attached right now. She produced well over 100 offset last year. Hurray!

I have to say that I have found "Picasso" to be a very prolific hybrid, a bit too prolific because it can grow quite big as a specimen yet once it produces dozens of chicks those will all end up smaller due to resource competition, at that point my expectations from Picasso are not actually met with 20 small chicks remaining rather small.

Paleo that is why I remove them and give each offset it's own space. I didn't remove the last batch as live got in the way last September. Our weather is warming up enough that I can do that now. There are so many it will take at least an entire nursery flat. I'll take a photo today.

My huge producer last year was Tordeurs Memory. It had so many offsets that you could not see the parent plants. Sadly I did not take a picture. I had so many that I actually tossed some away, not something that I would normally do.

Lynn, a few of them went on the compost. Some got potted up and a bunch are still on the plant.
