I've started experimenting with this great plant lists feature. How do I change the column display width? I'd like the status column to be wider, and I guess compensate by making the comments column narrower. I tried just dragging the edge of the column, but no go. I've looked at other member's lists and it looks like the column widths are variable sizes, so I'm guessing it can be done... thanks, terri

Terri, I think it might adjust automatically. Go to plant lists and click on my name, see how the width is adjusted? I didn't do that, the system did. Click on other names and see the difference.

Is this what you are talking about?
Maybe?

Yes, that is what I was talking about. On your lists, the status column was wider than mine, and allowed your categories to display on a single line, whereas mine was narrower and the categories display word-wrapped to a second line. When you mentioned that it must be the system that does automatic adjustment, I figured out that my first few entries were made before I did anything with the category feature, and had a few fairly long comments. The system triggered on the long comment field for spacing. When I went back and added categories which made my status column entries longer, the widths didn't adjust. I edited my entries to remove the longer comments, and then the status column width became wider just how I wanted it. I then went back and re-added my longer comments, and the column widths automatically re-adjusted again - but this time, the status column stayed wide enough that my entries didn't word wrap. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! This list feature is such an easy way to keep track of my garden plants, although I don't think I want to enter what hasn't made it - just better to leave that thought as something vague in the back of my mind rather than see in living color how many plants I've killed over the years LOL!

I have no easy way to make those columns adjust to the width you want, but I'm glad that you seem to have found a solution. Your list looks good, by the way! Thumbs up
