Currently our server hardware is physically located in a data center in Dallas. Over the course of the next 3 days, I will be transitioning the site's hardware over to a new location, also in Dallas.

So as part of this transition, I will be moving the site from place to place and those movements will cause slight delays in service. If, during the next couple days you get a "Site unavailable" type message, that just means that I'm in the middle of a transfer, and you should wait 10 minutes or so and try again.

I expect that the downtime will be minimal, but it will be there. The biggest interruptions will be this afternoon and Saturday afternoon.

I'd recently been noticing a bit of difficulty accessing ATP, mostly over the past week (is that why you're changing servers? ), so I probably wouldn't have noticed! Thanks for the heads up!

Woofie: I've been very happy with my servers and facility and I am not aware of any issues like you're talking about. I'm moving to a different facility for cost concerns (I found a better deal)

I checked the logs, Rita, and I see that you and one other member were still accessing the old server for quite some time after the move happened. So I'm sorry to say that those posts you made in the past hour are still on the old server and unavailable here.

Was there anything lengthy that would be difficult to reproduce? If so, let me know which forum it was in and I will retrieve it from the database.

Hmmm, maybe momentary issues with my ISP, but I'm not going to complain because it's light-years faster than my old service--and the same price! Glad you found a better deal! Saving money is one of my favorite things!

I am curious Dave if your moving of the equipment may be why all the t-mails I have received from mcash70 today have gone straight to my aol spam folder. This has not been happening before today.

I signed out and tried it and I was able to access the database, just not when signed in. Strange.

Linda, it's very possible that the server move is causing mail to go into your spam.

I should have the move complete by end of day tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. Then we'll do what we can to look into the spam issue.

Is the database unavailable today? Can't perform a search.

Today is going to have a lot of hit or miss on the servers. FYI!
