I've had such god luck in the past with episcia that I decided to branch out into Chiritas for some accent plants in the greenhouse. I am hoping it won't get too hot for them in summer. I only have one, it is just 'chirita' did not come with a cultivar name. Its in a little 2.5" pot. Anyone have experience with these, and a good source for named ones?

Gina, what a pretty Chirita! I grew a few years ago but mine were indoors on a light stand with other Gesneriads. Awhile back, the Genus was changed from Chirita to Primulina but I see it's now back to Chirita again!

One of my favorites that I miss was the miniature Chirita (Metapetrocosmea tamiana) I see Logees has it for sale and I'm tempted to order one.

Oooh, it's on LyndonLyons list too ... I will have to seriously think about placing an order soon... and probably for more than just the one Chirita tamiana.

Im really loving that p. sinensis 'Silver' it reminded me of Phalaeonopsis shilleriana!
