I didn't think I liked red until recently. So many flowers loved by hummingbirds are red. And the pretty new growth on so many tropical and succulent plants. What's not to like about that stuff? My Mom gave me a red cushion for a chair on our front porch and it's red... and blends right in. Go figure!

Truly, I don't know what to make of the Brazilian Red Cloak this year. It started its summer bloom cycle in July, and has just never stopped! Usually it takes a rest in the fall and starts up blooming in winter.
