The good thing is, it's only your opinion that matters.

I agree I've seen quite a few movies/shows that got bad reviews and have enjoyed, and seen many that were highly rated and one awards that I didn't care for Shrug!

If I think I will like a movie I will watch it, or recommended by someone I trust I will go for it

At Rotten Tomatoes, the only revue site I give even half respect it tanked with the common folks and the paid reviewers.
When it hits TV I may watch it.

Watching TNT I Am The Night (Chris Pine). The story of Fauna Hodel. Pretty good.

Hulu Double Feature Night. Both good and by the same producers. Suspense.

Down Into the Dark. A couple are trapped in a hi rise elevator 4 stories below ground.

Flesh and Blood. A father and daughter cope with the murder of his wife and her mother and the fact that the murderer was never found.

I have two twenty something boys. When they are home from college I watch a lot of what interests them. This is how I get my "bonding" time with them! Currently we are rewatching Game of Thrones as a refresher since the new season will be out in April. I admit I do enjoy this one and have read all the books. It's the Marvel Comic movies that I sometimes find a drag to sit through. Big Grin I don't mind the storyline but all those fight scenes... When I am home alone I watch shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, you know the ones my boys would never sit through Hilarious!

In general, this whole fad of making movies created from comic book characters does not make me want more. I am sure they make a lot of money. A LOT of MONEY.

The more illogical and ridiculous they get I wonder just how obtuse one has to be to waste money on them.

A few can straddle the line between real society and comic books but most are now the kind of story you get when two five years old try to outdo story telling each other.

Found more simple story lines in One Tree Hill (Hulu) for my bedtime. The first season and the second half of season 2 (out of 7) you get to know all the characters. And there are a lot of characters to know! There is both some teen drama and adult drama thrown in. But by mid season 2 the teens and adult characters mesh. There is a good guy and a bad guy and some revenge. It getting really good. The shows end in a slight cliffhanger each episode and keeps me up way too late watching at night.

I will have to check this one out! I'm always looking for something to binge. Streaming has ruined me for regular tv. I can't wait a week inbetween episodes Rolling on the floor laughing
