Photos: So I uploaded 4 photos, assuming they'd show in the order I uploaded. But they're reverse order. If I have multiple pix to upload for a plant do I need to add them last to first if I'd like them to show in a particular order (if adding a new plant)?

Photos again: How is a photo chosen to appear as the main? The Gossypium hirsutum 'Burgundy' now shows the open boll - well, it's really like any other ole cotton boll. It's the leaf color that makes it "special".

Plant Names: The original entry for a new plant only allows one common name I believe. Would it be possible to add more than one rather than going back into Plant Name edit?

Comments: I just noticed that no info other than user name and date appear w/ comment. Is it possible to automatically add the geographic/zone info from the user's profile? That would make it much easier to comment.

Thanks,
Monica

You can click on the thumbs up to the photo you would like to show as the thumbnail. If you already clicked the thumbs up on the cotton boll, click again and it will take the thumbs up away. Then click the leaf photo you would like to see as the thumbnail. : )
By the way, great photos.

If you go to the bottom of the page you can click on Edit Plant Name. There you will see the area where you can add more common names.

No, I wasn't the "clicker", so I can't unclick it. It's stuck there unless I can give myself 2 thumbs - a tad presumptuous of me even if I can do that.

I think I knew about Edit Plant Name. My whine was that I couldn't just add both Common Names at the same time when adding the plant. Had to wait until 1st Add a Plant was approved, then had to go back to Edit Plant Name. I don't like common names so the extra step seems unnecessary IMHO. BTW, do you grow Old Maids?

Thanks for replying and the kind comment about pix. Broke down and just purchased my dream camera, so I hope future pix will be better.
