This little yellow one turned up with a planting of Tulipa linifolia and turned out to be a perfect match. I always thought it was Honky Tonk but when I found this photo again, I realized it has a red center splotch and Honky Tonk does not. Could it be Tulipa clusiana 'Cynthia'? That is the closest I could find. I don't have a picture of the outer petal and probably the foliage was grassy fine like T linifolia. It was a little taller. It did not reappear.
