You can't miss it out in the bed. Smiling
So far it seems to be red through out the year. I will try to remember to get a photo a month for it to track the color. It was a new plant for me from North Hills Nursery last year. She has some awesome semps.

I just got an Othello from the 1/2 price bin at the nursery. Quite a sad wet little thing right now but he looks better with all the rotten lower leaves off. We'll see how he does in a few days. I had no idea they could get that big!

It won't be until next year that your Othello will attain that size. I got mine in Jan last year and it grew into a medium sized semp, until this year when it reached maturity.
You are going to love it Sherri. So glad it found a good home and didn't end up dead. Sad

Thank you. I am starting over I had hundreds and when I moved I put them where they were not happy. I thought it was good spot and did not realize it was near a gutter drain-off. I lost all of them. I was hurt. I had so many I was giving them away.

Chris, I am also Cinta on Dave's Garden.

Lynn, yes I was hurt because some where present from people that have passed. One was from a neighbor dear friend that got me started. I did not know what they were and she introduced me to them. I really felt bad about that one.

I found out later that It was the old ones that everybody had from years ago but it was a active one and a very large variety.

I dug up so many plants when I moved because the realtor said I had to cut the gardens down because people would not want that much work and make it simple. I dug up bushes and plants for 3 months. So moving that amount of plants and planting them I was not as careful as I should have been with the Semps. They really need to be in a special place to survive.

And it's a prolific, tough heuffelii. Nothing seems to slow it down or bother it.
