Oh, I see, I really like FW, I finally got one this year from Hallson's. Elegans has been very slow for me.

My plant is 3 years old.You are right about slow growth.Thats a part of the garden I dont get to much and the light leaved hostas get sluggs.Slugs dont like the tougher blue leafed ones.

Most of mine are slug resistant because I like the low worry/maintenance. I bought FW at a local garden center last year and I got home and the tag in the pot said FW but on the side of the pot it said Elegans,
Then I ordered one from Garden Harvest Supply and they accidentally sent Francee, so they gave me a refund and I got to keep Francee, which is slug resistant and pretty suntolerant.

I have seen slugs eating the slug resistant Hostas. I think it's a marketing trick.

I think the earwigs are eating my slug resistant hosta's. Got a plan for some homemade spray insecticidal soap.
