Absolutely lobelia cardinalis, wonderful plant and a hummingbird favorite. I should have recognized it as I've had 4 clumps of it for a long time.

Does best in part shade, wintersows very well. Long-lived for me.

these leaves are different from the other lobelia I have.. so it didn't look familiar to me at all ... will have to mark it now so I don't think it's that big weed again Rolling on the floor laughing
