My Mississippi State University Dawgs are one game away from winning our first National Championship. We were given little chance of even advancing to the College World Series much less finding ourselves in this final game. I've spent nearly my entire adult life waiting for this moment, hoping and praying that I would see us win a National Championship before I died. Perhaps tonight I'll see that dream fulfilled. lol Im not sure what it is, really. I just remember you getting one from a friend when you moved down, a house warming, and I had gotten one too. Its been such a winner. I think of you every summer when it blooms, its leaves are huge now.

Thank you, Alice. MSU has never won a National Championship in any competitive sport in its 125 year history. This is a really big deal for people like me who have spent untold hours, effort, and money supporting MSU.

From the looks of the fans ( wasnt it great to have fans), you were not the only one totally enjoying the whole thing. I went and took a shower at the bottom of the ninth when 9-0. I was almost afraid to come back, but they did just fine without me. guys

Ken, its the first pitcture I was speaking of. Mine turned out to love gainesville and I really love it loving gainesville.

I simply have numerous varieties of the Curcuma, Pam. There were 26K fans at all three of these games (and the 3 Texas games). The announcers guessed that in those 3 Vandy games, there were 20K MSU fans, 1K Vandy fans, and the rest made up of college baseball fans from all over. The CWS is a hoot. I've been to 5 of them. Those days are gone. I can't walk distances any longer.
