Lots of nice blooms. Do the leaves have a prominent mid rib? If so, they might be Iris ensata, Japanese Iris.

Sorry to hear that Joy, and the clump had so many bloom stalks. But seeing the photos of all your great plants it looks like you have plenty of consolation.

Nice clump Joy Smiling . The pointy signals indicate Japanese iris. The fact that you lost them also indicates Japanese iris. And it is almost impossible to kill Siberian irises.

Oh yeah, I remember that. I don't recall it getting down to the singles here in the midvalley, but the forecast was dire and I dragged a lot of pots into the house.
