This cat has been making a pig of itself for over a week. I tried to look it up & see what it's going to turn into but could not find it.
I'm so anxious to know what it's going to be when it grows up.

What is that it's been eating, Ann? Sometimes that helps narrow it down.

LOL! Linda! I don't know what the plant is. I've been meaning to put it on the ID forum but haven't gotten around to it. I think it's some kind of grape vine maybe. It's growing on a trellis on the side of the carport at this rented place. I think it just popped up --- it was not planted/meant to be here but we like the coverage it provides for privacy so we have let it grow. It has fuzzy leaves on top & undersides. No sign of any bloom yet.

Brilliant Linda! That is exactly it. I had forgotten to say that my camera couldn't capture the teeny little dots all over the cat. But you got it without that. How in the world did you do that?

Thanks Deb! The little minx does that with her toy of choice when she wants to REALLY get our attention to play with her. Scamp.

On occasion it helps me ID a caterpillar if I know the host plant and search for any caterpillar that use the host plant. Other times it doesn't help at all.I got lucky.
