This is one in a series of very short articles that will hopefully change your mind about some surprisingly good weeds. And even if your mind isn't changed, you'll still be well informed.

I haven't been able to get chicory to spend much time with me either, something about overtending it I think. I just keep trying.

Thanks about the age thing, Vickie. I'll meet 70 head on in just a few months. There is something to be said about being able to laugh about it though. Maybe I'll just meet it full steam ahead with a 'Bring it on!' attitude. I dunno, but I do know Life is very good.

And oh yes! We got a little bit of rain last night. Nothing to brag about, but even so, rain!

Laughter is keeping you young!

Glad you got rain, even if it was a small amount. Just north of us in Oakland City they got a terrible storm called a macroburst (the opposite of a tornado) and even though they got rain, the whole town suffered a lot of damage. Our son was working security for the Sweet Corn Festival parade in Oakland City when the storm hit and his truck got hail damaged (2nd time this year). I am calling him the hail magnet now! But no one was seriously injured and am proud that he was able to be there to help with getting people to safety.

We got 2.75 inches of rain in a thunderstorm last Thursday, but luckily no damage.
May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown
