Hello fairy garden Friends!
I have just recently acquired several fairy garden pieces to start my first fairy garden.
Our local Pat Catan's craft store was having a store closing liquidation sale, and all of their fairy garden pieces were marked at 60% off!
In the Fall of 2018, I had acquired my very first fairy garden pieces from another (personal favorite Mom and Pop) store closing liquidation sale. They were a little more expensive, even at the half-off price, but these particular items have thick wire attached, that stick in to the soil to help keep them standing upright. This seems to be useful when playful neighborhood cats and other critters are likely to knock them over:
The Pat Catan's pieces did not have those elements to stick in the ground, and I really don't fancy the idea of standing these pieces upright, after being knocked down, every time I turn around.
EDITED:
This article suggested using paper clips glued to the bottom of the pieces, but it has turned out to be way too time consuming and a complete fail bc they did not stay attached
so I want you guys to have workable ideas.
