Has Hosta Direct gone out of business? Whenever I go to their site it says we will be back soon.

Hey Bob!

I don't know about them, but if you're looking for a reasonable and quality supplier, NHHostas.com is excellent.

Jen first how have you been? I hope all is well.
NH Hosta has some on their site that are marked new for 2019 but I guess are not for sale yet as there is no add to cart area. I also want to try Milkmaid again mine did not overwinter. Or did anyone else have that one not come back?

Bob, any possibility it was done in by voles?

Bob, I found this on the Hosta Direct Facebook site:

Hostas Direct
May 11 at 7:28 PM ·
Dear Hostas Direct Customers,
This is Tom Carlson, Owner and Manager of Hostas Direct. I know that a lot of you are wondering when the website will be available for ordering hostas again? Unfortunately, it won't be open for months. I'm the sole caretaker for my father whose health has been known to fluctuate daily and that requires my immediate attention. I'm afraid I can't focus on Hostas Direct and my father at the same time. Please be understanding during this turbulent time and thank you for your business.

Thanks for letting me know RJ.
No not voles. the roots were still there. Milkmaid and Popcorn were the only ones not to come back of the 30 plus I planted last Summer. It did have brown spotting on it when I received it. but thought it would be ok. Aquamarine had the same thing but came back fine. I will most likely order another if no one else had a problem.
