Thread OP

Hello,

First, I'm an idiot - I planted something too close to my Coral Bark Japanese Maple and woke up today to find a section is wilting. Apparently I must've damage a root.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this? With watering, will new leaves replace the damaged ones?

Thanks,
Christian

Welcome!

The root damage must heal first, leaves will follow. There's nothing you can do but be patient and hope for the best.

PS: Don't fertilize

Seaweed / Kelp can help aid in root growth after transplanting. So I'm guessing it should help with damage roots.

But leaving it alone and watering it should be fine.
