Here's a bloom on 'Vanilla Strawberry'. It hasn't started turning pink yet. I'm not sure what this awful weather will do to it but so far I'm impressed. The blooms look like fresh cotton candy to me!

I love those big white flowers.
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
Some of mine have been suffering in our heat this summer. It's a real challenge trying to keep everything alive. Wish I had more room for hydrangeas. All your pictures have me drooling!

We have to do things a bit differently in the desert, as the more familiar types don't do well here. This sun hydrangea was bred in Japan and bloom nonstop from the end of June until the first hard frost.

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

Beautiful.

Gorgeous!! I have serious Hydrangea envy! I only have one that has survived for me, and I buy more every year! I think I'll just enjoy them on here, instead of wasting any more money on them!
