I am thinking seriously about getting a Mary Helen Eggenberger. It appears to have a beautiful soft appearance in photos I've seen and from what I read, a very strong pleasant fragrance. I would appreciate some comments on this variety before I "take the plunge".

Thanks. I'm all ears!

P.S. The photographs on this website are awesome!.

Pat - Mary Helen Eggenberger has a scent that many compare to 'hearts' candy... sort of sweet and sour at the same time.

Yes, it's delicious. I am not a fan of pinks in general but Mary Helen Eggenberger is one of my top ten plumeria.

That's all I needed to hear. Thank you for that response. Don't have a huge collection, but have these for fragrance: Celadine, Aztec Gold, Hong Kong, Vera Cruz Rose, Duke, Wildfire, Miami Rose (thanks Mike); Gardenia (thanks Mike); Kauka Wilder; Makaha Sunn; Sally Morgane, Penang Peach; Hurricane; and a few others that are not so fragrant but are beautiful. I have no problem with pink.

Yes. Got some destruction. Don't have them often but do get leary when this time of year comes around. Did get a new roof and siding out of it all. Will definitely take some plants next time evacuation is necessary. However the plumeria bug has hit me hard this year harder than that ol storm did back then. Really enjoying it when some of these do bloom, and finding myself taking some of the flowers to work with me. I love the various fragrances and the amazing colors. Lovey dubby

Pat I feel for you; I know Ike was VERY rough in your part of the world.
