Went to my friend's nursery today and didn't come home empty handed!

Plus 11 Coral Bells and some grass. Now I have to figure out where I'm planting these!

Has anyone used either of these vendors The Hosta Store.com or Land of Giant Hosta ? They are the only 2 that have Spilt Milk and Tobacco Road. One seems to have low prices and one pretty high.

I've ordered from Land of the Giants. You will not be disappointed! Beautiful plants and nice packaging. My plants arrived in great shape. I'd recommend them.

Rose I was going to ask who you might order from , you have so many different kinds. I did end up trying the Hosta Store since Land had run out of Tobacco Road also ordered On Stage , Spilt Milk and Savannah Supreme . Sounds like it is not supposed to be very stable but was not very expensive for a streaked. I have ordered Spilt Milk a couple of times before and sent green plants with no white markings , hoping for better luck this time.

My Savannah Supreme is slowly getting solid colored leaves. I'm not spending big $$$ on streakers anymore. I have very few that are stable. Had to take an eye out of Gunther's Prize again this year. I'll work with Gunther's Prize and Fickle Blue Genes, but those are the only two that I really hope keep the beautiful colors.

Here is my order from The Hosta Store.com. All pretty nice sized with nice large roots. Now to see how true to color they become.

And a freebie from my sister-in-laws cottage; any ideas on an id? A small Hosta; not juvenile leaves I don't think. The leaves are round. Some of the centres are quite narrow. She has had the cottage for 2 years and this had been from the previous owner.

End of season sales are starting up here 😁 I've recently picked up:

Colored Hulk
Morning Star
Night before Christmas
Captain Kirk
Sunset Grooves
And one sad looking Dream Queen

Some I'm taking a chance on as they're from centres I know bring in large production plants so I'll keep them separate for the next couple of years.

Garden Pride brand name is one I won't buy here as I've seen several plants with HVX and had one myself before I knew about the problems. I brought 2 very sick plants to the cash tonight and let them know. Hopefully they destroy them instead of returning them to the shelf.

Debbie Waterslide is on the want list, but I think I have bought enough this year.
