Yea my variegated grows so slow and if it was not only one i have it would not be taking up space i have so few leaves .
we will have to talk about trading stems

i will like to trade with several people that can take a good cutting that can make it quick to graft. but now is NOT the time way to hot every where in my opinion.

Mike, I thought that the time to graft is during the growing season? I thought this was the perfect time. The few that I did are on my porch I thought it best not to have them in our oh so hot sun till the graft takes. But they are getting lots of light. I quickly got tired of the take em out bring em in thing. So, I put most in the ground, Now I've changed my mind again and putting quite a few back in pots but no more taking them in, survival of the fittest, I've had a long talk with them and they know; either grow or die. yes its a great time to graft but not to ship its very hot unless you ship to a close person my boxes shipped out of state seem to be taking 4-6 days and that is usps priority mail and the stems i am afraid will wilt to much a lot of moving is due to they are small under 2 yrs and the stems are very green and if they stay wet they rot that is a big problem of using chemical fertilizers. they grow to fast and dont harden off. the big adeniums are out for good there is about 30 of them i will not bring in till call for frost or freeze
