A little off topic here, but has anyone tried the crocosmias from The Lily Garden? They look to be hardier then most, especially the Yellow Lucifer and Orange Lucifer.

I love Lucifer. It's a nice grower her, unlike some areas where it tends to be a little invasive. So far Lucifer is the only one I've had that survived the winter.

I have not tried them, but certainly have thought about it.

Same here.
Where are we going, and why am I in this hand-basket?

I had gotten some orange ones from a seller on Ebay last year. They are coming up. I too have the Lucifer and it does very good here.
Hope the orange ones bloom this year. Will post a pic when they do.
I was going to order from that site but decided to hold off till I see what these look like. I do like the yellows though.

I was hoping I could get them now, but no, not until spring, but I'm going to order now before I forget once again.

If you remember when they bloom, Julia, I'd love to see a pic.

I will post a pic if they bloom. I got them last fall but didn't put them in till spring. They/ve been coming up over the past 2 weeks BUT I've got a rabbit or two who are driving me nuts and I see they are tasting the leaves. Darn rabbits. Hope it doesn't affect blooms. I've got to check my supplies and see if I have any Deer/Rabbit Off products. I typically spread milorganite around but ran out.
