It's an Epidendrum. Looks like it might be radicans, a native one. They grow very tall. http://florida.plantatlas.usf....

Dave, just to confuse you, I have 2 reed stem Epis which have slightly different growth habits. Both get over three feet tall grow outside year round and bloom constantly ( we rarely get freezing temps),but my red one has arial roots up the wazoo, while my orange one stays fairly neat. I think one is Epi radicans and the other is Epi ibanguinese (sp), but I've never been able to Id them for sure. Here is another link that might help...http://www.orchidmall.com/general/epi_art.htm
