How large is the plant? Or - what is the size of the pot?

It's vandaceous but the curl of the leaves seems distinctive.

From the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant is 8 1/2"
The spread is 7 1/2"
The size of the pot is 4 1/2 " Ursula, I hope this helps.

If I could remember the nursery from which I got it, I could phone and ask the name and if I could just see the name of the orchid, I'd immediately recognize it.
I remember being told the plant needs full sun if it's behind sheers and that sphagnum moss was the best medium for it and that it should be kept consistently moist but not overly so.
Boojum, the shape of the leaves is indeed distinctive. They almost look like one of my Neos.
There was even a web-site which I visited that showed one of these which had reached an impressive size. But, for the life of me, I can't remember the name of the web-site and if I had time today, I'd devote the whole day going from one site to the next, to the next...
As I was writing this, Orchids Limited came to mind. I have ordered 3-4 from them and I think I'll give them a call after they open to ask about it.
Thanks for the help you two.
Would you please con't to help me?
Thanks. Kevin 51

Yes, Orchidweb is a good source. It reminds me of neo x vandas like the ones you sent me only curlier. Let us know what they say.

My first thought was Darwinara Charm when I saw it, but I didn't want to stick my neck out, not knowing the dimensions.

Thank you Ursula. I think I'll check out orchidweb as Kathy suggested even though it's always been a difficult site for me to navigate. Too, I might just call Orchids Limited and ask them for a list via phone of the plants I've ordered from them. If they aren't able to tell me, then it's off to other nurseries. Amongst them will be RF Orchids, SBOE, Carter and Holmes, Fantasy Orchids, Hausermann's...I'm already tired just thinking about it. Maybe I'll hit pay dirt with the first call.
If I remember correctly, it's has a very simple name, relatively speaking.
I'll post when/if I find out. L.

Thanks Boo, I have now taken the attitude that if I've done all I know for any plant and it decides to die, then I just let it. Not as tedious as I once was with them. As a matter of fact, I've so much to do each day around here that I'm not even on-line as much as in the past. BUT, I do keep a lookout on the cubits which I've joined and a couple more sites. There are some very nice people on here and that includes you and Ursula. Lee
