These are a perennial here and you don't see them around much. They are my favorite plants this year. I think these will become more popular once the secret gets out about how long they bloom and how easy they are to grow! Shhh. Don't tell anyone. My neighbors might find out what they are and start copying me again. Here are a few that just started blooming...

Delosperma dyeri

Delosperma 'Mesa Verde'

Delosperma 'White Pearl'

Delosperma 'Lavender Ice'

Mums the word Clint!! This is my one plant and my one flower, might be two by now(stardust). Got Firespinner in the mail yesterday from Mamajacks! Thumb of 2012-06-23/virginiarose/148c18
I think next year I will go all yellow and mix it in with the Gaillardia. Wouldn't that look great?? Big Grin

Come to think, the FireSpinner might look ok with the Oranges and Lemons, and probably Moxie also.
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

Susan - Sounds good. I have some neighbors that copy my flowers and it gets annoying because I try to use unusual things that aren't so common around here. LOL.

Bob - They claim the new ones are more winter hardy. I can't comment on that part though. Our winter last year wasn't bad at all. Our petunias didn't even die. I have had cooperi and starburst for over 3 years now though and there have been some cold weather, but not comparable to what you probably see every year.
