These are rather nice mules that my customer asked me to paint for her. Fun for me, a little $$ and a great conversation starter! But she actually wears them to water in each morning too.

Have any of you painted on shoes? I did flip flops last year.

What cheerful mules she has now! I'd be afraid to wear them because I wouldn't want to mess up the paint job. Very cute Becky!!

Crack or peel??

I painted these same shoes for her last year and after a year they paint wore off a little in the creases. That time the flowers were small clusters.

This time they are larger and will no doubt crack in the same seams but Jamie is one of my best friends so I can fix them anytime. The paint stays on very well except in the creases where she bends her foot. But it looks fine...

Canvas shoes are better....paint stays on forever!
