These iris had had plenty of rain that day so I was happy to see which were holding up vs those soggy and curling up. Poise and Charm was sooooooo nice in person.

Elsa - Paul has been working with a whole line of broken color iris. I like the looks of Wild Streak even better than his Die Laughing.

Sad to hear that about Ink Patterns. I bought two of that one last year. We have certainly been having a lot of rain over this winter and will probably have more this spring. Grumbling

Some how I missed it when I put in this years order there because I have been trying to collect some of his broken-color Iris. I was searching for Break and Broke Smiling since many are named like that. I planted "I Broke It" in the Fall so maybe I will see that one soon.
And I definitely have my eye on Wild Thing for next year.

Ink Patterns has been a consistently great iris here.

Good to know. I like hearing where their iris do well since they can be a bit hit or miss for me.

Leslie ~ I was so pleased to get Die Laughing. It bloomed the first season and it is such a pretty iris...not just broken. And the faded bloom is like getting a different iris.

I agree does very well here, always blooms and increases nicely.

Ink Patterns does well here, too. It's very floriferous and blooms for a long time.

Ev: Love your Die Laughing. I was interested in it. I have to go back and see if I ordered it or it was one I could not find.

Just to be clear, Ink Patterns bloomed and increased very well here too. Smiling That was never the problem, rain tolerance during bloom was, and it can unfortunately rain a lot here some years.

Anyway, I gave a piece to Lilli, before I composted the rest, as she really wanted it, so perhaps I one day will learn if it does better for her. The climate is the same in Denmark as here.

Shoot, I checked and it got dropped from my final order list. Remember my space issue? I am having to really be careful how much I order each year now. But there is always next year. But here are two I ordered that were directly enabled by your pics Ev: Milk in my Coffee and Rare Blend.
