It does well indoors during the winter.
You should give it a try. Just needs a bright window.

Here I can over winter it on my covered deck, where the rain won't keep it wet. I just got mine, so waiting for the baby to grow up and look like this photo.

I got if from Siskiyou Rare Plant Nursery when I stopped there on my way back from California. He has some of the most interesting plants.
He said he would have for sale on his web site in the fall. He's propagating now. You could drop him a line and reserve one maybe?
