Cindy, thanks. Thru the years I really have been adding lots and lots of late and extra late bloomers to extend the daylily season.

Ann, I am definately going to have to try the ARMENIAN melon cucumbers again next year.

Tried to get the entire upstairs Tall Bearded Iris bed weeded today but just couldn't finish. I hope I can finish tomorrow and then mulch with straw along the pathway. Can't mulch the iris, which is why the weeding. I will put more Preen in the iris garden once I am done.

Thanks Cindy. It is unbelievable how much of my daylily gardens are totally done for the year already.

I have Dream Sequence way up in my back garden but it is so beautiful that I intend to move it after flowering to the Terraces garden here by by back kitchen door. I just love it so much. It is a Rice intro that I got in their clump sale last summer.

Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I did give away most of them but my kitchen counter still has a lot of tomatoes sitting here. That is good because I eat some every day. I just love those home grown tomatoes.

Since I had all those different types I was planning on doing taste tests and compairing. But by the time I got them into the house and on the counter I had gotten them all mixed up and no longer knew which variety was which. So next time to will pick different varieties I am going to label with post it notes so that I can have my official tastings. Thumbs up Hilarious!

The mix up with the taste test thing has happened to me too, Rita. Post it notes sounds
like a good idea. Thumbs up

Also the same thing with cantaloupes, pepper, cukes, beans, corn, and who knows what else.
I love to try different varieties too and taste test them.

That's just part of the fun of growing veggies. Green Grin!

Thanks! Smiling Bold Witness is one of my Korth intros.

Cindy, when I had the piles of tomatoes out on my stoop I knew which was which. But my the time I picked out and bagged ones to give away all the piles looked really different than they started out and I got mixed up. Didn't help that I movced the piles around! Hilarious! Whistling I learned my lesson. I thought I would remember and realised I would not. However lots and lots of tomatoes to come so I WILL be doing the taste tests and next time I WILL label them so not to get confused! nodding

And I only need post it notes on the ones picked out for the tasting, not on each tomato harvested. So lets say I pick 5 whoppers and 5 better boys. Pick out the ones for the testing and stick post it notes on those two.
