Well still not so lucky here, hard to believe I have not had one bloom on my plants, I am watering sometimes twice a day, and they are nice and green, but that's all.
State Fair starts today so we will surely have rain, we are all praying for it.
My brugs were drying up and dying in the ground. I dug any i planted out this year and potted them up, moved them under the shade tree where they get some morning sun and afternoon they are shaded. I had to cut most of them back but thankfully the ones that are survivig are looking better. I am hoping they have enough time to bloom this year. It is drier here than ever before and temps have been up 108. Even on the days its below 100 the humidity is so high you cant stay out for long and theres not enough watering coming out of the hoses to keep things happy..I have most of EE in pots now also its just too much to drag hoses all over the yard to water everything..

Patricia I will have some for you. Just don't forget I have you down for two, Painted Lady and Flame. Before frost is when I start bringing them in.....
I know about dragging those hoses. With the rain we had I still had a wilted brug. It doesn't always go into the pots so I feed them some Charley tea. Perk them up in a bit....
Don't worry mine have not had a bloom this year either and mine are in pots This side of Indiana has had NO RAIN since the first week of June, even though we had a ban on watering anything buit Veg. gardens I brought mine in the house every weekend and watered, I now have a but on two of them, I just ope they stay long enough to bloom,
