Somewhat different daylily, mine reminds me a bit of a plumeria bloom? Take a look at the photos in the database. Nearly everyone is different. Who knows what it looks like? Probably not everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy it.

Lighting makes such a huge difference. The age of the bloom, as in morning-noon-dusk, does too.

SPACECOAST GOLD BONANZA
Taken August 1st in morning light. SGB has very uniform blooms so the fact that this is a different bloom should not make much difference in the comparison.

SPACECOAST GOLD BONANZA
Taken this evening just as the sun slid below our wild roses to the west. Though the setting sun casts amber light, the sky was overcast to the east, casting bluish light washing out much of the amber tones.

Wonderful news Ginny, I wish rapid healing and 20/20 for you soon (like, later this evening). Group hug

@Lyshack ... we need a gorgeous pic of 'I Love August' in the database. All of them are beauties but I especially like your VL 'Time to Ponder'.

Mike...thanks for bouncing that one back on me gracefully. *Blush*

Charlemagne, your first Spacecoast Gold Bonanza pic is especially crisp with a popping amount of saturation. What a difference lighting makes.
