I use to raise homing pigeons, even raced and have a few trophies. Many moons ago
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.

So sorry to hear about JJ.
Hope the little stray sticks around.
After I had left home my dad had pigeons...... rollers I think. I think it the one thing that bonded him and my two brothers the most.
I really enjoy your stories.
