Daylilies are super hardy at least here in Georgia. I always give them to new homeowners because they are hard to kill and each year they will return. Stay the course. Any educated lawn service employee should know to stay away from flower beds and anything in them.

I agree...give the lawn service a call. Lawn services have trouble keeping competent help and there is a lot of turn over. So they can write on the work order to keep away from flower beds if you call the company. I had to do that when they were dragging hoses thru my flower beds to spray the lawn. Be the squeaking wheel!!!
