Perhaps we can do this already but when submitting photos for the database, is it possible to also be able to write the comments at the same time when uploading a photo for the database instead of waiting for the photo to be approved and then having to go back and write the comments?

You can enter a caption, if that's what you mean. The caption would be brief, though, like paragraph size at most.

Although if it's a comment about the plant and not something about that particular photo, it would be more helpful to others to add your comment to the plant entry itself rather than the image.

I understand what your saying Dave, but what Sue has mentioned is what I was referring to. Can the comments entry be available at the same time when uploading a photo thereby eliminating the need to go back and enter comments once the photo is approved.

Comments don't go through moderation. The comment will be posted immediately while the image will be put into the moderation queue.

This functionality has been added. You will find it in the "Post a photo" screen, under all the other fields. Just like the other fields, it only appears AFTER you upload the photo.

If you have already entered a comment for the particular plant, it won't show up.
