What beautiful trees. You sure won't find them that large here, having to protect them here every winter. Huge beautiful trees of plumeria flowers! Do they take much more care when they are that large?

There are a lot of huge plumeria here too, in vacant lots, in the strips between lanes on a road, and in people's yards. I never know what they are but it is a joy to be walking down the street and catch a whiff of one.

What's with the parakeet? Is it wild?

I have to get out and look!!! I can't help myself... Big Grin
The parakeets are not native to Florida (mostly budgies) but there are flocks that have naturalized and they have been here in the wild for decades. They are usually green ones... this must have been a pet that escaped.
