But the stems are variegated like a zebra!

Here's an interesting example. Rooted cuttings of this tree are solid green, as are mature plants, but the seedlings have white mottling for a while.



I don't know if this technically qualifies as variegation, but it falls into the same category.

I've seen this kind of cactus before! They are really cool.

Sometimes the leaves also have a reticulated pattern, sometimes they are plain, like mine. Some people believe that the 2 forms are different species but they are really not. Its just a natural variation.
