Would it be possible to have a favorites feature that would enable users to build a list (s) of plants we love or desire??

I envision a simple checkbox on each plant entry page, perhaps

We do have that available by using the Lists tab at the top of the page.
When you are in the database you can also add that plant to your list. Just look to the right of the page and you will see a blue box (Add this plant to your list). Click on it and it will give you options on how you want it listed in your plant list. Have, want, etc.

Welcome, Glenn! And remember that the Lists are tied to the database, so you can see if anyone has the plants you're interested in, and if they're available for trade.
