I am not sure what the current status of E. mojavensis is according to the CoL, if it is not recognized as a separate species or subspecies these photos certainly are located under the right entry of E. triglochidiatus. Also this plant has a very large area of occurrence and is pretty variable throughout it. The place where this picture was taken is pretty much at one end of the region where it occurs, which could also play into it looking different from the other pictures.
