Hi Everyone
Here are some pics of cuttings from my "Swingtime" and "dark Eyes" Fuchsia's

I planted these cuttings about 6-8 weeks ago they appear ok although it maybe a little early to tell yet if they've caught. (I'll keep you updated with pics)

I don't have a pic of dark eyes mother because those cuttings were given to me by my cousin he cut from his plant.

They are kept in my glass growhouse hopefully they''ll be ready to re-pot next spring

1st pic "Swingtime" (Mother plant ) 2nd pic her cuttings 3rd & 4th pics are "Dark Eyes"

Taffy great job.. soon you with have huge plants keep them pinched out so the stems will get thick. Otherwise stems can become spindly. Now is time to add 1/2 strength liquid fertilizer once a week..

Keep us posted.

Hi bumplpea
Thanks for your sound advise I didn't know about "pinched out" ?
I'm assuming you mean cutting the top of the stem to stop it getting taller, I will do that now.

Also half strength fertilizer is a good tip again I wouldn't have known about that.
Thanks again bumplpea
cheers

Taffy.. Welcome! ... keep us posted . Fuchsias are so forgiving and beautiful lil ballet dancers swirling from each stem. They always bring smiles.😍
