I ordered some crotons in 4 inch pots. How snug do crotons like to be, when would I need to repot them?

Do you plan to keep them indoors?

Hi! I put my 4inch croton right away into a 6 inch pot. It did just fine. It had some new growth struggles until I put it outside this summer. It went from 4 big leaves to multiple. Now that it is getting colder, I spray it daily and have it on a tray of rocks with water to try and give that humidity it loved in summer.
