I caught a squirrel eating my guava fruit this morning. What's the best and working natural ways to prevent it from eating my fruit trees please?

Do you have a dog? An outdoor cat? Animals mark their territory, which deters wildlife even when the pet is not present in the yard.
We've used a havahart trap. Be sure to cover the trap with a cloth to keep the captured squirrel calm during transport.

We almost don't ever see squirrels down at our cabin property in Central TX. The heavy hawk population cruising the skies there for a meal is a wonderful squirrel deterrent. We've seen maybe 3-4 squirrels in the nearly 3 years we have owned the place. I have more problems with gophers, moles and copperhead snakes.

Here are the things I considered

1. Plant peppermint at base of fruit trees
2. Have pepper spray and spray leaves and branches since my fruit trees are near a wall
3. Ultrasound device...I have not found a good one yet
