Favorite tool: Wheelbarrow or small garden cart: When you are done working for the day, pile all those tools in the barrow or cart for one trip back to the shed!
LOL ... I don't know why I didn't supply a photo when I submitted the tip. That sure is a great wheelbarrow, I could use one with big wheels like that. I have a smallish cart that resembles the one in the picture but mine has small wheels and doesn't hold a lot of weight. For carting tools like shovels, rakes and what not I have to use my husbands wheelbarrow (the old metal type that tends to rust out after awhile) and it's is sometimes hard for me to maneuver ... especially when it's weighed down with stuff!

It's a fantastic wheelbarrow. We bought it more than 10 years ago. It lives outdoors. Every day it gets full exposure to the elements, whether it be rain, sun or snow. And after 10 years of that, it's in as good condition today as the day we bought it. The only thing we've had to do with it was replacing the tires.
Because of the way the wheels are oriented, you can balance the wheelbarrow perfectly. This means that you can easily move as heavy a load as can fit in the container. A child can move hundreds of pounds of potting soil without any difficulty.
It really has been worth every penny we paid for it. In fact, I've mentioned several times that we should pick up another one because too often this is full of something and I still need another to haul something heavy.
This is the only one that we've found. We decided this year that we really wanted/needed another one, but the cost has gone up substantially! Ouch!!!!
FYI, in this month's issue of Family Handyman, there is a DIY version that looks promising. Of course, that requires a bit of time, which is at a premium to all of us. Meanwhile, we still just have one.

Thanks for that link. Ouch indeed. But I've gotten to the point where heavy loads are tough, especially in the early spring. I'm betting this will make the heavy yard chores go much faster.

I found this link to Rubbermaid commercial. It looks like there are 300 and 700lb. capacity units. I'd guess you have the 700lb. version given how well and long it's performed? http://www.rubbermaidcommercia...

Glad to have your confirmation Dave. I've looked around, and asked, at HD, Lowe's and Tractor Supply with no luck. Now with the name and serial number I can pick one up today less than 10 miles away!!
Good luck, Evan. I hope you find one for a reasonable price. If they are indeed available for under $150, I think I might just get a second one for myself.
