Since you were so amused by my non-yellow Yellow Sastago, I thought you'd enjoy seeing the latest bloom on my Tantalizing Red.

THAT is the one rose I was telling my DH about that the name has NOTHING to do with the color!!!! Hmm.. My brain is trying to remind me that I have this rose? I vaguely remember buying this one.. Maybe this is one of my mysteries in my back yard!! I bought this one & Florescent Fuscia (sp?) and they didn't have traditional cane tags and the labels I put on that section of roses all hot wiped clean by the snow!!

That is a pretty pretty rose.. so pastelly. I'd personally call it something like Pastel Perfection or something like that.

I think it looks yummy delicious and should have Sorbet or Parfait in the name.

But Ogres are NOT like Parfaits.. they're like Onions.

Men should not be allowed to give roses color names. They all seem to be at least partially color blind. They need to retain a female assistant for the purpose.

Zuzu, if you've not seen the Shrek movies, you need to put that at the top of your priority list. I really don't like going to movies and can rarely sit still long enough to watch one at home....but the Shrek movies are just too much fun. I really think they're aimed more at adults than kids.

The rose should be named rainbow sherbet. Or maybe chiffon party dress because of the ruffled petals.. I love pink and yellow roses.
