When does it bloom for you?
Mine are new as of early June.Hoping they will look good with lilies(asiatic)

Jo, I had them with my Rudbeckia, they all petered out in 3 years Thumbs down bloomed in mid July this is 2010 Thumb of 2012-08-06/flowersrjen/947fef

I wont be disapointed then.Someone said they grow the cardinalis red and it re seeds.I will look into that depending if I havnt found something else in the meantime.I am a fickle gardener.

I grow the l. cardinalis red and it never reseeds for me. Seeds are easy to save and the plant produces a lot of seeds. They wintersow well, and it's definitely a hummingbird favorite. It blooms in July or August, and mine do better in part shade than full sun.
