This is an inexpensive, although time consuming way to make a garden party or evening wedding magical! It uses disposable plastic cups, sand in the bottom of each, and a votive candle. The design is up to you!

That is just breathtaking, thanks for posting. DD has her wedding this Nov. I may have to steal this idea.

Just be sure you make your design in an area where ladies in long dresses will NOT be walking. Wedding receptions should be memorable.....but not with a fire truck!

Very pretty. I can't imagine how long it takes to light them all.

There are now 'electric' votives you can get, much safer, and they are reusable many times.
We use them for a display at the Naples Botanical Garden for the 'winter solstice' celebrations.

I was thinking of using the battery operated candle lights and making the designs on the bridal table.

spectactular... I have the LED votives... some that are yellow candle color... and some that turn colors... and some that you can put underwater.. in like a puncch bowl.. or in a vase with water and flowers... but nothing says yes... it's hot.... like an old fashoned fire.. you're looking hot there
