~ Editing my original post to say that this plant was identified as Climbing Hempvine (Mikania scandens)

No blooms yet but I found this sprouting in a bed with a Hibiscus and tied it up to a light post to watch and see if I could figure out what it is. Well, it's been growing for a couple of months now, twining away around the light post but still no blooms. The leaves resemble Ipomoea but not from seed I remember sowing (I've sowed seed of Ipomoea Nil, Ipomoea Crimson Rambler, Ipomoea alba and another one (can't remember the name) but the leaves on this vine are different from all the other MG's. Any guesses??

Jay: Thanks so much! It sure does look like Climbing Hempvine/Hempweed your database photo's are great! M. scadens is a Florida native but tthere's another Mikania that's invasive in the state. I'm going to watch this one closely - if it ends up being the invasive variety I will pull it out. Thanks again!
