Hi my wood fern has not done so well. I mist it twice a day and water it 1.5-2 times a week. Also been fertilizing half strength monthly with MaxSea during the growing season. My other ferns (asparagus, sprengeri, and mother) are perfectly happy. The wood fern is 90% brown foliage now and not getting any better. I can get a better picture if necessary. Just wondering what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Looks to me that you have a Polystichum acrostichoides, Christmas Fern, or a related species rather than a Dryopteris species. Suggest that you forego the fertilization and reduce your watering after you let it dry out a bit.
