This plant is not Aloe squarrosa, which has recurved leaves and more pronounced teeth. I'm not quite sure what to call it, though. A number of smallish aloes tend to be mislabeled Aloe squarrosa in the trade.

This aloe, for comparison, looks properly identified to me.

Maybe you would have some idea what to call your plant if it's not squarrosa. Please let me know what you think. Otherwise we can file this image (and the other two of the same plant) under the genus listing for Aloe.

I have left a comment for Aloe squarrosa with some more details about the plant, if that is of interest to you.

Aloe (Aloe squarrosa)

Thank you Baja for moving my images to the correct place in the database. I acquired it in a plant swap and that was how it was labeled. I have no idea about it's true identity. Smiling

I wish I could help you with that, but at least you know the genus. Smiling
