I have had this plant since roughly 2002. It was a gift from a friend, a small offset from her mother plant. I have propagated it several times so now I have 6-7 in different locations around the ponderosa. But in all the years, this is the FIRST time it has bloomed. I had no idea what the flowers were going to look like, what color, until now. This plant is really big now, it has a spread of about 5 feet.

I have actually never seen them on the market. I got mine from a friend about 15 years ago.

My variegated Crinum is the Grandchild from my Queen Emma.
It flowered late this summer for the first time and the bulblets are now sprouting.
Here are 2 of them...

I hope so! Mine also flowered for the first time. I have always propagated mine by division, there are usually a few pups around the base. I think I have 5-6 scattered around the ranch

There is a fellow from NE Florida (Middleburg) that has a good variety of crinums at good prices. I ordered one from him and received a huge 4" bulb and he included several freebies and some seeds. He sells on eBay and I could not tell from his site if he has any variegated plants but I am sure he would respond to a query. http://mystorecatalog.com/bulb...

might have to ask specifically when you plug in variegated only a variegated flower (Lorraine) comes up. I honestly do know know the origin of my plant. If my friend who gave me the start told me, I have forgotten. But I've never seen it anywhere before. I sold a few offsets on eBay years ago. I also have the Crinum xanthophyllum, the 'golden crinum'. I think I actually got this from Tim Chapman or someone who was selling mainly gingers, also years and years ago

Yes, I figured you would have to ask the gentleman directly.
